zipaDee-ZOOM

Swim with a mermaid on today's zipaDee-ZOOM yoga!

We had 17 yogis join the fun!!🧘 

What's your favorite thing to do at the beach?  Some folks said swimming, collecting shells, looking for hermit crabs, boogie boarding

3 Deep Breaths holding hands over your ears to hear the ocean

Deep Breaths holding hands in Conch Shell Mudra: "The right hand is the "hot dog bun." (hold the hand out, palm up) The left thumb is the "hot dog." (Place the left thumb across the palm of the right hand.) Wrap the fingers around the hot dog.  Bring the left pointer finger to touch the tip of the right thumb.  The rest of the fingers on the left hand wrap around behind the right knuckles.  Holding your hands like this may create a sense of being safe and sound."

Watch the Ocean Waves🌊 -- sitting on bum, knees tented and drop side to side (like windshield wipers)

Ooh!  I SEE a SEA turtle🐢! -- Tortoise Pose (not too deep a stretch, still warming the body)

And there are crabs🦀 running on the beach! -- walk your Reverse Table Top to be a crab

Build a sand castle🏰 -- Downward Facing Dog

Put on sunscreen -- Self-Massage

Sun Salutations🌞 to warm the body for s-t-r-e-t-c-h-i-n-g and strengthening

Surf the waves🏄 in your Warrior 2 Pose

Go for a swim🏊 -- Locust Pose

Pick up some neat shells🐚, put him in your bucket -- Boat Pose

Mermaid Twist

Relax at the Beach🏖
