There are four feeling families! Today we thought about "mad." 😡 "Mad"comes in different strengths: mini-mad feelings like being frustrated or annoyed to deeper feelings like the Incredible Hulk kind of anger when you "blow your top!"
Breathing helps you manage ALL feelings. ALL feelings are okay to experience, even when the feelings are unpleasant and don't feel "okay" to feel.
We warmed up with the "flying cow" sequence ~
inhale -- Fly the Cow🐮
exhale -- table pose, inhale -- traditional cow🐄
exhale -- child's pose
inhale -- Fly the Cow🐮
We practiced "Volcano" to express anger:
Press your hands together like bookends . . .
This is the lava. The lava pushes up through the mountain, and the mountain erupts!🌋
