The Year of the Pig

How was the Chinese calendar created?

Read a good book to learn!

The Chinese calendar is based on the movements of the moon!

The Jade Emperor decided to sponsor a race!

Snake slithered:  https://youtu.be/-gXzI_VPLFw 🐍

Hare hopped from stone to stone.

Tiger used all his strength to battle through the currents.

Dragon raced through the sky because he was too big to swim in the river.

Rat WON the race!

Because pig stopped to snack, he is the LAST animal in the 12 year calendar cycle!

Cue the FIREWORKS!

We twisted and rested to finish out our fun.

Sometimes the most challenging part of yoga is putting your shoes back on your feet . . .
💚💙We are thankful for yogis who lend a helping hand!💜💛
