Being Flexible Down South

We had a lot of fun with "If Yoga Were Southern" this week at Pisgah Yoga!  We'll do this practice at Cedar Grove Yoga on Monday, November 5, 5:00-6:00.  (These ideas were posted on Facebook by"It's a Southern Thing.")

We started off with Alabama's "Song of the South" to set the mood: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lHdXQAQHjd8&list=LLiaze_-7Mlz6aBSFU0Vg4sw

Your ideas of living down south depend on who you are and your life experiences . . . we celebrate the the "good things"~

"Hey, Y'all" Yoga Pose

"It's me, it's me, it's Ernest T!"

"Bowl of Grits"

"Nascar Crash"

"Bless Your Heart"

We think there should also be a yoga pose for "sweet tea," "front porch," and "sand in your toes" . . .
what else are we missing?!

We shared a southern noodlehead story and a musical rendition of "Grandma's Featherbed" too!

There are parts of our way of life that need a little work (always) but "Namastay in the South, Y'all?!"  It is home~Y'all come!!
