Firefly Connection

During our last yoga practice, we explored Eric Carle's The Grouchy Ladybughttps://zipadeeyoga.blogspot.com/2019/06/ladybug-yoga.html. There are fireflies at the end of the story . . . so today we read Eric Carle's The Very Lonely Firefly! Yoga helps with our loneliness.  It connects us to ourselves, others, the world, and BEYOND!


We took deep breaths to get started with our yoga practice.👃

When warming our bodies, we practiced standing strong like a mountain!⛰

The lonely firefly flashed its light to search for other fireflies, but it found . . .
a candle,

a lantern,

an owl whose eyes reflected light,

the headlights of a car,

and fireworks before it found other fireflies!
